FIXED! Some windows updates can not be installed while CIS is installed
You can download latest version using internal updater or from here. Remember not to install antivirus if you already have one.

I just want to say Thank You for all of your time that you give helping others...and I'm sure you know that you help so many that you don't even realize you are helping like me.
I live in CA, and just a few miles away from one of the terrible fires (Oak Glen, which is this special, charming apple-growing community) last week. I was devastated seeing the hill ablaze.
I felt the computer would be better updated before we heard on the news, but by clicking one of the links, I picked up the Fake Alert Ahu & Aht trojan. So frustrating...but I'm seeing this trojan is making a reappearance of redirecting the search links on google, etc.
I try to think of myself as pretty savvy and was able to delete the trojans via Eset, but did a search and came across one of your helping posts and ran a few other scans you recommended. I don't really understand GMER and didn't want to mess with anything although it did tell me I had a rootkit but all other scans I tried came up zero -- however, this computer seems perfect once again. I'm a little obsessive about keeping the computer free from bugs and such. At the time I was using McAfee and since my license was ending next month and it didn't prevent me from getting infected, I decided to delete it. I'm going to try the free version of the Comodo and see how this goes otherwise, I'll add Eset which I use on my other computer.
I just want to send many blessings your way ... I know there are many others who give as you do ... but you truly stood out.
